1. Download and Unzip the Demo Package. In Matlab directory, change the directory to demo directory. They In Command prompt typeMainGUI  and enter.

2.  Select Load MHA Image and Select an Image from the image database as shown

3. Now select Preprocess using Trilateral filter which is common step for both the techniques:

4. After Filtering it will show you the actual filtered image and Filter performance. You can use filter performance for analysis purpose.

5. Now Click On the Filter option of Method2  It is little slow process. Wait till you get result image like the image below.

6. Now Click on Tumor Detection. It will Detect the Tumor Area.

7. Click on Save detection to save the result. It will not show any message after clicking this button, but result of method 1 will be saved.

8. Again Load the MHA image, Filter using Trilateral filter

9. Use Method1  Select Filter Option. You will get output as below.

10. Perform Thresholding to get output as below

11. Use Watershed Segmentation to get result as below:

12. Click on Binary Mask

13.  Tumor Detection

14. Combine to get an Image as below:

15. Now we have to find out how accurate is our detection. The database also has a truth image associated with tumor image. Now load the truth image

When you click on the load truth image folder, you will get the file open dialog, scroll down the image database folder and look for associated truth images and load it.

16. Now Do accuracy analysis.
