Image Encryption is a means of changing the image information such that they are not recovered by any filters. Normally addition of noise may also be considered as image encryption. But then the actual image can be recovered by simple filters. Therefore in this work we adopt an image encryption technique that first change the orientation of rows and pixels of the image based on a carrier image generated through a password, then it applies a key to the image.

1. Download the demo and unzip in a writable directory like desktop. Change Matlab directory the unzipped directory. In command prompt type “MainWindow”. 2. The work compares 7 different techniques for image encryption.3. PSNR is the measure of image encryption. PSNR of Encrypted and main image should be very low and that of decrypted image and main image should be very high. User can compare the performance of different techniques with respect to password strength.4. For Running the main project, in command prompt type guide. Browse MainWindow.fig, press F5 to run. 6. In order to see how ech button is working, close the running project. In guide right click on the button and select view callback.
