The work doesn’t have any GUI.

1. First you need to download and  extract the demo folder. Demo folder contains two sample image sets used in the paper.

2. Change Matlab directory to your demo directory.

3. Type and execute Mask command in the command prompt. It will ask you to enter the main image. Whichever image you want to inpaint, should be marked with Orange color as you may see in the sample image.  Once Mask has executed, it will produce a binary mask image which will be stored in the directory by name mask.bmp.

4. Now run FINAL_MEDIAN_INPAINT_CODE  . In the original image, you must input the actual image without coloring.  It will again a File dialog and ask you to enter mask. Now you need to select mask.bmp  image.

5. Inpainting process will start within 1 20 seconds. You can see the result of every iteration. Finally Inpainted image will be displayed with PSNR  wrt to the original image. It will also be saved in the project directory as result.bmp.  Note, inpainting is applicable only for bmp and png images
